We are living in a unique moment in the history of tennis, in which the three most successful players in history, Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic, have coincided in space-time. This era has not only provided many entertaining hours for all sports lovers but has also given tennis an enormous boost and increased its global significance. We are at a turning point in the world of tennis, an opportunity to create an academy that will last, that is linked to the values of the sport and that represents a philosophy and a way of understanding life.
The proposed academy model aims to create a recognizable image among tennis players, to transmit values that create a sense of belonging and identity and, despite the fact that it is an individual sport, to recognize a club philosophy in each of its athletes. The services currently offered by traditional academies focus on satisfying training and sporting needs. The new proposal aims to broaden the range of services offered, provide greater diversity to create synergies between the different users and enrich the experience lived at the center.
Around tennis, the Academy builds a way of understanding the world.
The proposal is formalized by various organically shaped volumes that are grouped around a central space, then spread out and merge with the surrounding nature.
In this way, the project is not a dead space, as it defines the main lines on which it will grow in the future.
Around tennis, the academy builds a way of understanding the world, overcoming problems, and enjoying success.
