A4 House, Opposingnatures
The plot is located in a very particular place in this privileged neighbourhood. Pleasant views, steep topography and imposing trees that, apart from enveloping the house in a natural environment of great value, generate a feeling of isolation and privacy from the neighbourhood.
The initial challenge of the project was to place the house on the steep slope of the plot, which is accessed from the lowest point and offers a panoramic view over the valley to the north. The value of the location is nature, which has the leading role from the moment you leave the paved road.
The project is transformed into an observation platform that solemnizes the impressive views of the landscape and blurs the boundaries between the interior of the house and the wildlife.
The house is configured in two volumes, one supported on a stone plinth and the other that flies over the landscape, generating a large porch that serves as parking, both joined through a glass walkway.

We access the house through the plinth, which contains the complementary uses of the house, a bicycle workshop, a gym, and the service rooms. Above it, and divided by the access stairs, we find the night uses. In the north, facing the spectacular views and looking for privacy, the main room, on the contrary, to the south, and in connection with the garden, we find the secondary rooms.
Through the light glass walkway, we access the second volume, surrounded by nature, where we find the day uses. Facing south, we find the garden, with a landscape character where the existing lush vegetation is the main protagonist.
