Four houses in Larrabizker, Nature becomes landscapewhen human frames it
Located in an enviable natural environment in Bizkaia, a project worked on different levels has been proposed thanks to the topography and orientation of the plot.
The initial challenge of the project is to locate the house on the steep slope of the plot, which is accessed from the highest point, and which offers a panoramic view over the valley.
The house is transformed into a multi-level observation platform that solemnizes the impressive views of the landscape and blurs the boundaries between the interior of the house and the wild and natural environment.
Terraces and balconies become extensions of living rooms.
The design philosophy is one of contemplation, where every corner of the residence serves as a vantage point for reflection and appreciation. Outdoor spaces extend organically from the interior, blurring the lines between shelter and open air. Terraces and balconies become extensions of living rooms, providing an uninterrupted flow that encourages residents to commune with nature at every turn.
